Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to create a welcoming, supportive community where seniors can live independently, safely,and abundantly.
Abundant Life of Perrysburg has been providing affordable, independent senior housing for over four decades.
Our story began in 1977 when Zoar Lutheran Church established Abundant Life #1 as an outreach ministry for low-income seniors. In 1993, we expanded with Abundant Life #2, designed with enhanced safety features such as walk-in showers and emergency pull cords.
Both of our communities are located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Perrysburg, Ohio, offering peaceful living close to everything seniors need. Residents enjoy one-bedroom, garden-style apartments near parks, shopping, restaurants, churches, and banks. To make daily life easier, we provide weekly bus transportation to grocery stores, local activities, and seasonal group outings.
Neither giving nor receiving care is easy. Abundant Life Senior Care puts relationships first — to support those providing care, to protect the dignity of those receiving it, and to enhance the quality of life for both seniors and their families.
Abundant Life Senior Care Center offers affordable in-home care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for those who need it.

Who is eligible to live at Abundant Life of Perrysburg?
Residents must be 62 years or older or 55+ with a qualifying disability. Income limits also apply: single-person households may earn up to $33,200/year and two-person households up to $37,950/year.
Elderly care, or simply eldercare (also known as aged care), is the fulfillment of the special needs and requirements that are unique to senior citizens. This broad term encompasses such services as assisted living, adult day care, long-term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and home care.
Because of the wide variety of elderly care found nationally, as well as differentiating regional perspectives on elderly citizens, it cannot be limited to any single practice.
